On November, 25 a very important event took place at the Jaźwica mine starting a new chapter in the history of the company. On the initiative of the ŚKSM a declaration was signed on the establishment of the Świętokrzyskie Hydrogen Cluster named after Łaszczyński brothers.

The ceremonial signing of the declaration was attended by the representatives of central authorities, i.e. Member of the Prime Minister’s Council of Political Advisors – MP Krzysztof Lipiec, Prime Minister’s Plenipotentiary for the Clean Air Programme – Mr. Bartłomiej Orzeł, and Mr. Zbigniew Koniusz – the Voivode of the Świętokrzyskie Province, as well as the representatives of our local authorities, including Marshal of the Voivodeship Andrzej Bętkowski and the representatives of the City of Kielce and its municipalities: Chęciny, Miedziana Góra, Łagów, Daleszyce and Morawica.

The main objective of the Cluster is to produce zero-emission energy and then to produce “green (zero-emission) hydrogen”, which will be used for mining machinery in our mines, for transport of aggregates, as well as in our regional public transport.

The establishment of the Cluster and being its leader is a great achievement for the ŚKSM, we are becoming a company initiating innovation, application of modern technologies and economic development based on green transformation. This is also a new chapter in the history of the company: in addition to the rich history, tradition and achievements to date, we focus on bold and modern development plans.
