ŚGP INDUSTRIA is a new title sponsor of KORONA ACADEMY
Today, i.e. May 4, in the office of the Świętokrzyska Grupa Przemysłowa INDUSTRIA, a sponsorship agreement with the Korona Academy Club was solemnly signed. As part of the signed contract, ŚGP INDUSTRIA became the title sponsor of the club. In addition, one of the largest youth training centers in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship will be named INDUSTRIA Akademia Korona as of July 1, 2023 and in this form will join the games in the 2023/24 campaign.
At the time of signing the contract, the following were present: President of the Board of ŚGP INDUSTRIA Szczepan Ruman, President of the Club – Łukasz Jabłoński, the guest of honor was the Minister of Sport Anna Krupka. The sponsorship agreement was concluded for a period of 1 year.
Since March 2022, ŚGP INDUSTRIA has been emphasizing the importance of the development of young “Koroniarz” when it became the sponsor of the Korona Academy. At the beginning of May, the company decided to increase its involvement, thus becoming the Title Sponsor of the Academy. As part of the signed agreement, the Świętokrzyska Grupa Przemysłowa INDUSTRIA will have the right to use the title sponsor, and its logo will be placed on the front of the players’ shirts.
The Korona Academy belongs to the Korona Sports Club, which is known and recognizable not only in Kielce, but also on the national arena. As a professional sports club with traditions, he created the Korona Academy club to promote and develop the sports skills of young people – future players, footballers who will join the team from Kielce. As the largest club in the region, it is responsible for promoting and developing football skills among young players
Korona, as the largest football club in Kielce and in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, should take into account the social role in its activities. The pillar in this respect is our Academy, which will soon turn two years old. “I am glad that we will start the third season of our activity together with Grupa Przemysłowa Industria as the title sponsor. Children and youth are our future. I am convinced that together we will successfully implement a strategy that is friendly and useful for the local community,” said the President of the Management Board of Korona S.A. Łukasz Jabłoński.
Anna Krupka, the Minister of Sport, summed up today’s event in warm words: “Today we are announcing support for young talent. Through the Academy, Korona shows a social initiative to support young players. I would like to thank the president of ŚGP INDUSTRIA, Szczepan Ruman, and the president of KORONA Kielce, Łukasz Jabłoński, for the concrete support of the Korona Academy Club. There is no success in senior professional sport without the support of young talents. Thanks to INDUSTRIA’s sponsorship, young footballers from Kielce will be able to develop. I believe that in the next few years the senior squad will be joined by young adepts who will join the ranks of professionals.”
