On May 29, an important event took place in Katowice, which will contribute to the further development of hydrogen technologies in the country.

Świętokrzyskie Industrial Group INDUSTRIA S.A., as the leader of the  Łaszczyński Brothers Central Hydrogen Cluster, and the Silesian-Lesser Polish Hydrogen Valley signed a letter of intent on cooperation in the development of the hydrogen economy.

Both sides declared their willingness and readiness for mutual cooperation. The exchange of experiences on the production of green hydrogen, Polish electrolysers, as well as the development of Polish hydrogen automotive platforms will be of key importance. The Central Hydrogen Cluster aims to include a hydrogen hauler in the fleet of vehicles and machines operating in the mine – characterized by co-combustion in a hydrogen engine.

The parties also see the possibility of cooperation on the development of hydrogen technologies. In the long term, cooperation between these entities is to enable the joint implementation of projects and research related to the production or use of green hydrogen
